It's actually not a huge deal -- especially since, once I removed the poll, I didn't see any other errors on the page -- so that's OK! I am soon to be updating my major sites to Wordpress anyway (in one huge overhaul), so they won't need that old poll widget at all.

Thanks for keeping things up to date!

Got this error on my websites that use a particular piece of code: Fatal error: Call to undefined function import_request_variables() in /home/millennium/public_html/mil/lp_source.php on line 4 (I took out the poll code to fix it in the meantime)

There's also a bunch of errors popping up on Xepher.net's main page.

I wonder if we can get notice for PHP updates.

Hello!

Are you still considering doing that thing where we'd be able to use our domains with Google apps? (Specifically for mail)

Thanks!!

Web Design / Re: Paintchat canvas size

I'm replying to this old thread because I found this out just now! (I was having the same trouble.)

You have to edit the ".paintchat" file in your paintchat web folder. The one in public_html. The one in the www folder outside of public_html updates fine, but not that other one, for some reason. So I downloaded it, saw outdated figures for size, edited it, and reuploaded it. That fixed things.

Yay, for posterity!

Oh, yay, it works again. Thanks. :D

AWStats showed some weird error when I checked the other night, but it may have been the nightly refresh or whatever.

Technical Support / Possibly PHP-related questions
February 19, 2011, 08:17:52 AM
Hello! I'm trying to keep tabs on things that changed since the recent PHP upgrades. Some of the small PHP forms on my websites don't get used very often, but they all used to work. Right now, they don't! I'm not sure what to do about it.

Such forms can be found here http://www.webcomicstarot.com/rules.php#join
And here http://ai.senshuu.com/commissions.php
Also here http://www.lovefeast-comic.com/ask.php

(They're all basically the same, but I added different fields to one of them)

They all go to the error page, no matter what. I didn't change them anytime recently. Xepher, could you look into it?

Also, AWStats doesn't seem to be working right now!

QuoteI don't know much about HTML or coding, but I would learn as fast as I could.

Learn first! Act later! There are ways to do that freely, too. The learning/experimenting with code, that is. Promises of what's to come generally don't work too well in applications. Show a little something, even if it isn't pretty...

It happens on WP and non-WP sites. Basically, everywhere I put the AddThis button into the code, and it loads in some little javascript button thingy at the top of the page when it's done loading. :B

AddThis is so handy, I don't want to remove it...

Can you believe that one of those moron spammers (or likely a bot) actually registered twice off the same IP in the matter of a few hours???

This actually happens a lot on my forum...

Oh, one more thing. We had a hunch that Project Wonderful was causing the space, but it also happens on this site, which is devoid of PW code: http://tarot.senshuu.com

*pulls out hair*

EDIT: Oh, you think Google Analytics might be doing it? I have that code inserted into all the pages that do this, too. Hmmm.

Thanks for helping me though. If you can think of anything else let me know...XD
