Looks cool as hell:

Yeah, it does... site dies if JavaScript is disabled, though. (Firefox + NoScript)
From what I hear the game sucks though. I haven't tried it though, so that's kinda second hand information. ;D
I did open beta for them at one point....they game LOOKS incredibly wonderful, but it's kind of bland gameplay-wise.
And while the "family" system is really cool in theory, it feels really awkward playing three characters at once, and it pretty much nulls any community building, in my opinion. Who wants to party if they've already got their own, anyway?
That's the reason it generally doesn't work that well. All you need to do is make yourself a support, tank, and dps char and you're all set.
Just looking at screenshots, they all look like J-Pop idols dressed in Victorian garb. Seriously, I know Final Fantasy X* all sold really well, but why does every mid-budget RPG end up with characters looking just like it?
Why can't people do a style like wind waker had for once? ::)

I actually liked it a lot as well, but I'm afraid most people thought it looked childish. But I'd rather good looking cartoons than plastic looking people.
Actually, a cel-shaded MMO like windwaker wouldn't be a bad idea... I know I'd definitely play something "cartoony" looking if it was a good game.
Or a Zelda MMO would be nice too...
I love cel-shading. And it's easy to render so you can get a more diverse audience... speaks to me since I have a crappy dusty old computer... ;D
I dunno'. I liked the look. Easy/fast to render was a plus, too.
Actually, cell shading is a tad more complex than just texturing. Only newer video cards have actual built in support for it well enough for it to be effective.
Oh, it always looked so much simpler :P
