I saw this in another forum, and I thought it was a pretty nice cheerful thread.
So, tell us what made your day/week/month/life!
Feel free to keep posting with each new happy update.
I'm happy 'cause I love my anime club friends. I love 'em so much they're not even just anime club friends anymore. %D They're awesome and not like other people some of my acquaintances have met through anime. Yeeeeheeee I like spending time with them.
I'm happy because as one of the original founders of my old high school's computer club I get to go back there as alumni and teach kids how to write basic games. I'd be more happy if the teacher who's running the club would have informed me that school was out this week too. :P
I'm happy because I got a day off work tonight for our quarterly team outing. We spent the day playing disc golf, eating Thai food, and then drinking and playing video games... all on the company dime. :-P
I'm happy because tomorrow I'm off to see Slumdog Millionaire, followed by a long and wonderful night of role-playing games, obscure geek jokes, and home-cooked food with my friends.
Also happy because I'm writing all this in the middle of class, in the front row, and the instructor probably thinks I'm taking notes.
I'm happy because I won two Student Addy Silver Awards. Yeeee!
They're for this website (http://www.jessicacantlope.com) and this (http://ai.senshuu.com/art/ani-goh.php). The Addys are graphic design awards for many different facets of design. I'm entered in the next level up, too.
Apparently it's a good resume booster! :D
Senshuu:
Haha, that's so awesome! Those sites look really awesome. :] I am envious of your graphic design talents. :X
tickyhead:
I still have to see that movie. (I will, I promise!) What RPGs do you play? I'm just starting to learn D&D.
Xepher:
If I had a job, I would work incredibly hard to achieve what you did. That sounds so fun!!
Databits:
Aww, that's so cute. :3
...whew, got that all covered! Hehe.
Y'know, I'd like to be able to write simple games. Pretty soon I'm gonna start messing with some game templates I downloaded for Flash. %D
I need to see Slumdog Millionaire... 'cause it won stuff.
Also, last night I ate the most awesome pizza. What's great is that I still have half of it left, too.

Slumdog was really good. I actually agree with the academy on this one, it deserved best movie.
We used to have a pretty good D&D campaign going, but the DM decided his life was too stressful for him to run it properly. Now we're playing Legend of the Five Rings, which is basically feudal Japan. I've never played it before now, but it's very interesting and fun. Much more tilted toward the role-playing spectrum of the genre, as opposed to D&D's "I kill things 'til they die" approach.
I'm happy because I love seeing everyone else have a good day! Here at the Xepher Forums and outside of the internet world. :]
I'm happy because I just made cookies and dressed cupcakes with a new friend that I really like, for a writing club that she's starting.
I'm the vice president now because I make the best damn cookies ever.
I'm happy 'cuz I FINALLY got my taxes done, and I bought new shirts.
huh... I'll never be able to participate in this thread... ever....
Gee, thanks for ruining all the happy, Fes. Now we're going to be depressed, which is about as opposite from the thread's original purpose as you can get. :\

This just made my night >:D
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
I'm even more happy now because I got into the school that I applied to, so I'll finally get to work towards my BA in game design and maybe live my dream of being a game designer! That and living in Seattle / Redmond will be kinda an interesting change of scenery from where I am now. :)
I'm extra happy right now because the boy that I like asked me out. Sounds very girly, I know, which is why I'm happy. Girly stuff rarely happens to me.
Hey JM! Something sort of similar happened to me recently. Kind of. But it's a little different still. *vague* :D
I'm also happy because I finally unscrewed some of my CSS. Then I made new CSS and screwed something else up, but luckily this time it's not something that impairs functionality. *nods*
I'm happy because I've spent the past 3 hours just sitting in front of a computer, reading up on random religions for the fun of it, and being paid to do it.

D: Not happy anymore *jobless*
Happy because I got to Erazmus scholarship program (going to Germany).
And today small things: managed to finish and send corrected version to the editor (job chance).
I like a speedpainting I did today (recently unsatisfied with my art).
A total stranger [I presume a fan] bought me a book off my Amazon wishlist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm happy because I'm lining up a cruise in the Caribbean in 3 weeks. Get to use my new dive computer! :-)
I'm happy because I have this thread to look at and know that everyone else is happy. :)

"Dive computer"...I just imagined a laptop that can work underwater. That WOULD make me happy.
Actually, I have no idea why I'm in such a good mood right now.
I'm happy because I was recently told a friend of mine was dying...and I woke up this morning to find that he had made a miraculous recovery.
Also because I feel really good about an assignment I finished over the weekend, but mostly that first one.
I'm happy because I just bought a 2005 Ford Mustang convertible with less than 60k miles on it for under $13,000.
On the upside, I'm getting married on May 30th.
Congrats... both of you!
I'm happy because my dive computer finally showed up in the mail, and this time next week I'll be 40 feet under the carribean :-)

Congratulations!!! :) :)
I'm happy because today my boyfriend turned to me and said, "You're my favorite."
And I replied, "Wait, what? Favorite what?"
And then he realized how awful what he said might have been and corrected himself by saying, "My favorite person. You're my favorite person ever."
Bumbling nerds are so adorable.
*LOL* That's cute. Bumbling nerds are the best.
I'm happy because I have bread from Zingerman's. Real bread, the kind that makes you work to eat it, not the soft Sunbeam crap.
I'm happy because I have strawberry Sunny D. O_O <3 And SODA! For once. <3
Also, leftover tempura shrimp and sushi <3
One:
Tomorrow I'm going to fly down to spend Monday to Wednesday with my boyfriend! I miss him so.
Two:
On Friday I'm flying out to Puerto Rico to spend the weekend there with my family! I've never been. :O
I just happened to go to Puerto Rico on my cruise. San Juan wasn't that impressive, but we took a tour to El Yunque, which is the only tropical rainforest in the national forest system. Didn't get to stay long, and it was (of course) raining, but I would've liked to spend more time there and hiked some of the trails. Check it out if you get the chance.
I have a shot at a nice, full-time website designing job that will pay well. :D :D Interview Tuesday!
ANOTHER INDEPENDENT MALE HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE PLANET.
Dive bars and strip clubs, sob for your loss of revenue. I, however, will be enjoying homemade waffles on Saturdays and never have cold feet again in winter. Wedding was yesterday.
Oh noes! What shall the strippers do! ;D
I am envious of your waffles and lack of cold-feet.
