I know I don't have a site here, yet, but I have a SQL question. On my existing site, I have forums (phpBB2) and if I get hosting here, is there a way to transfer the mySQL database?

PhpBB has a database backup feature under the admin console. If you install phpBB here, you can then restore that backup to the new server.
