Title: Wacom tablet under Linux

Is there a way to get wacom tablet working under linux? I use ubuntu 8.04.

I no longer use Ubuntu, so it's hard to say. This is a question better posted on the Ubuntu forums, not the Xepher forums. :P

But in short answer, yes there is. Mine works great. You need the wacom input/driver plugin for Xorg, which should be in synaptic. Not sure what other packages you need, but gimp seems to support most all of the pressure sensitivity/tilt/etc.

Ohh I should mention this to a friend of mine.

Dunno if she uses Wacom, but she keeps having to reinstall her tablet driver on Ubuntu over and over and sometimes it just doesn't work.
