Don't forget tentacle hentai and tentacle too. :P

I used to have a "no hentai" thing in my about page, but I think I removed it when I rewrote the section.

You can add Xepher.net under "Exceptions" I think.  Set it to "Allow" and I think it means Xepher.net will always be allowed, no matter what.  Or maybe until the natural life.  I've got a few sites saved under there so I don't have to log in again and again....

Ahh...I don't have a webcomic and if I did, there'd be maybe 1 reader or 2, but out of friendship....  I'm also not graphically inclined either. :(

I've never gotten any donations :P

I've never gotten donations either, Fez.  It's why I try to keep my site tiny. x.x  I've contemplated holding off a raffle or something like that, but I don't know.  My guess is that most of the people who visit my site are too young to have a credit card or are broke college students (or people who would rather donate to the booze stash than anything else).  If you've got more ideas for encouraging people, I'd love to know them.

I was thinking Spore based stage names would be funny, but so far, I'm stuck at Molecular Mishap and Super Swimmer.  There's Tribal, Civilization, and Galactic domination phases afterwards.

All the most recent stuff is 1 click away from the front page.  It seems to also help Google index my stuff.

Thanks for the input, guys.  I'll play around with it this weekend and see if something decent emerges.

I've avoided drop down menus because they've seemed too shiny.  I have 4 sections, actually, but each section goes deeper (or will eventually).  Right now, I've got breadcrumb trails holding everything together, plus an overall main navigation strip, but I find personally that I end up going back to the main navigation and starting from the beginning when I move between actual content.

Web Design / drop down menus

How do you feel about drop down menus?  Not the form option ones, but the DHTML/CSS ones, like this, but without the submenus.

I'm thinking of switching over because then everything on my site would be 2 clicks away, instead of 3 clicks....

I think it looks nice.  I should suggest this to another forum group because they're not happy with phpBB right now and they might like this.

Agreed with dragyn - the t-shirt molds around the person, but the pants seem stiff in comparison.  Are they pajama pants or the plaid pants that the Hot Topic kids wear?

I think it looks pretty good...my only suggestion is that the cracks in the rock? should be darker.  There's something triangle shaped on the right, which, on first glance, just looked like a triangle floating on the page.  Maybe the next darker shade down would make it more crack-like?

Big boy job?  What was the previous one - food court? :P  Welcome back and congrats on getting someone to help you out with the technical aspects.

If the oceans were to rise tomorrow the way they're predicting, my family would suddenly have beach front property. ^_^  I'm not quite sure how I feel - obviously, it's happening and I'm not one of those kooks who think it doesn't exist.  My personal feelings are to at least do my part in not junking up the planet more, because I'll be long dead before we find out whether this is good or bad.
