General Chat / Re: Hey there all.

Welcome!  If you've got an active site, I'd go ahead and apply anyway.  Even if you get turned down the first time, there's always room for improvement and reapplication.  And it's been a while since Ticky tore someone a new one. :P

Although Ticky's not really that mean.  Succinct, maybe.  Anyway, welcome to the forums. :)

Isn't Cupcake supposed to fix some of the battery life stuff?  I have to charge mine every night, which isn't really inconvenient, but it could be better.  The mail sync could also be be better...I'm not sure if mine works all the time anyway.

Yup, May 30th.  And I know the feeling...there's so much to do now.  I can't wait for it to all be over.

Anyway, I'll stop hijacking this thread.  Hopefully, Xepher will get to this application soon. :)

Congratulations!  I know how that is, except I'm opting to keep my domain. :)  When's the date?

LOL.. Nice, Xepher.

The photography looks pretty good, IMHO, particularly the architecture/building shots.  I think it's a good idea to separate the photos from the drawings because they're so different.  Good luck, I hope you get in. ^_^

So, basically, the kidavi.net site and subdomains would be moved to xepher?  Or this a complete new portal?  Sorry for asking what might be the obvious.  Anyway, nice art and design and I hope you get in. :)

Quote from: JM on February 19, 2009, 04:26:16 PMI just have an issue of finding something and sticking with it for more than a couple months. :\
I'm that way too.  In college, it was actually the professors that helped me make up my mind.  I originally thought I'd be looking at anthropology or computer science, but got into psych and Japanese because of 2 professors.  They were very awesome, influential people who made learning in these subjects so much more fascinating than anything else.

What about something like this?  http://recaptcha.net/  I've seen it used on other sites, some fairly large, and it seems pretty good.

Still trying to figure that one out but I think I have a better idea of it now.

What Ticky said.  I'm less concerned with originality atm but just on the fact that you have some content.  No website, bare-bones application doesn't convince me that it's well fleshed out.  Sorry.

Thanks!  StatCounter, which I've been using, doesn't show image leechers.  Time to do something about that.

Skip Step 2 because Xepher's already done that.

Also, after uploading all the files, make sure the .php files are set to 700.  Your program may or may not do that automatically.

If you want to see your database, log in via Xepher.net > User Services > Database after Step 6.

Why won't the code on main.htm work?  Do you need nested iframes?  I'm on a mac so I can't see but the code on your main.htm stuff looks pretty solid to me.
