Hey, thanks for saying something at all, guys.

I'm not sure what you mean by "personal work", munerift, though if you explain that I might have something lying around.

And Xepher, yeah, it's a little unpolished, but that 's part of the reason I wanted a site here, is so I could get better, and tell the story that's been building up in my head.  Well, one of them, anyway.

Thanks, guys.

Hello, again, all.

I'm still here, and will continue to wait patiently for your verdict, Xepher.
I thought I might should say something here, as I havent posted anything at all in a couple of months.

That, and I had to move it down to keep the picture's size within reason, so it was actually farther back originally.

Oh, yes, the car is the larger one's.  The littler one crashed it.   See?

The lack of ground is due mostly to the fact that I didn't color it.  I generally give the background and such it's depth and detail when (and if) I color it, so that's why it seems so weird.

Thanks for the input.

Any other observations?

Heh, that was quick, Xepher.

Anyway, the "taller one" looks weird mostly because I don't generally draw any character from the back.  Half the reason I drew him that way is because I need to work on that angle.

The car and the background are all right, but I put them all too low.  This happens anytime I draw the foreground and background at the same time, instead of finishing one part first.

And yeah, the feet never sitting level is something I've been working on.

Thanks for the input, it should help.

Hey all, Dragyn here.

I made a sketch recently, and I'd like some input.  I already placed it in the "extras" part of my site, but there's no way of getting feedback there, so I'm putting it here, too, though I'm shrinking it more here than I am there.

The larger version is at http://beastlingcomic.atspace.com/extra1.html if you want to look at it bigger.

Here's the shrunken version:

All input will be appreciated.

Oh, by the way--neither of these images is completely full size.  If you really want to see the massive, full-sized image, I could upload it.  Just ask.

Heh, I knew that, but now we have proof.

Also, my site now works under a creative commons.

First off, the first thing I noticed (at the atspace site) is that you basically have 2 "front pages".  The "home" page and the splash page you get first when you go to suku.atspace.com.  It'd probabaly be better if you either combined them into one or found a way to skip them, but that's my (highly biased) opinion.

Another thing--why the cursor?  I have nothing against it, but the diagonal movement cursor showing up whenever you highlight a link sorta' weirds me out.  The plus cursor is fine, though.

A few of your links seem to be broken,  specifically the ones in your "original art" section that I noticed.  This might just be my internet, though.  (the picture I couldn't get to load is the one entitled "chibiicy"--the link takes me to a nonexistant page)

Okay, now that I'm past the complaining stage--the art looks familiar.  I'm not sure if this is because your style is based on one I've seen before or if I've actually seen it before, though either of those is a possibility for me.

The shading is nice, better than anything I've done, anyway.

That's about it from me.  I wouldn't know, but I think monthly would be okay.

Good luck.

Heh, I was reading through the "things to think about page there and I thought this bit was funny:
QuoteCreative Commons licenses are expressed in three different formats: the Commons Deed (human-readable code), the Legal Code (lawyer-readable code); and the metadata (machine readable code).
Apparently, lawyers aren't human.

Heh, I tried to be hosted on Comicgenesis, but when I did, they were in the process of changing its name, so my site existed, but I couldn't do anything with it.

I figure it's been deleted by now, though.  It's been awhile.

Nice artwork on your site.  Good luck.

Hey, Xepher, no worries.  Everyone has their "grammar Nazi attacks" from time to time.

Oh, and Mune-- I believe that "consciousness" is what you may have been after.

That, or conscience.

Hey, better than my pixelated works to date.  (see current avatar for examples)

Also, no real animation on my part to date.

Good work, Data

The only layout I've ever made is the one on my site, and it's pretty basic stuff.  I'm sure there's somewhere you could go to get better than that.

Yeah, we know.  It's more a dream than anything else.

Of course, the odds aren't really in our favor...
