Hey, I downloaded the file and unzipped, and tried to play the ll.exe file, it told me to run the control file, so I  did and it came back with:

Missing Palette, ll.pal. How do I make it work?

I used to be a member and I'm looking to be again, so I'll throw my 2 cents in the pot as well...

I used to use ALOT of the FTP. I dont know what that other method is or even how to use it. 0_o
Email, Pop3, Spam Filtering... and mayhap someday even alittle PHP.

As for bringing in money,

1) Art community such as dA in which each member would pay a "joining contribution" of say 5-10 dollars for indefinate hosting (website hosting would be free on the side as it is now) this way if people want to be part of a community without knowing html they can, as well as have uniformal access to other artists.

2) this fuels #2, with a dedicated art site, produce community works such as calendars or semi-annual art books, with 50% proceeds going to the artists and 50% going to Xepher, after print costs are out of the way. I know not everyone has the same art style, so mayhap even make a couple different options such as one for "robots," one for "furry/anthromorphic," etc...

3) Throw a raffle! Mayhap invest in a academic edition (often times found for 1/2 the price as the regular version, and just as functional) of something like Photoshop or Painter or something (how bout even a tablet?!) like that as a prize. (or sometimes contacting the company, they might even throw in free promotional copies) Raffle off chances to win at $3-5 an e-ticket.

4) Like 3 but throw a contest! Whoever can pull in the most donations every 3 months would win something ..?

4) Contact well known comic/ art designers commonly found on the comic places and write them personally. Explain what a great site xepher is and what you'd like it to become. I'm sure many would even be flattered and want to join a site like this, which would in turn pull their following with them and bring them here = more donations.

There's got  to be more, but I need to find them first. =)

Hey I've beta tested several programs before (for Microsoft, Corell, Blizzard...) and I squeal with joy when I catch bad coding on MSN.com and DA. =)

I also love doing graphics, so if you need me, I'm here!

Yup, I'm not sure which state you're currently in but I knew you were out. I'm glad I'm still memorable. (hopefully good!)

I dont mind feedback from the others as well, stop being shy guys!

I read in the documentation it said there could be a wait period of a couple MONTHS before a definate decision is made, so I brought my camping gear. =P

Thanks!

Aislynn's little corner of the web, home of her scribbles and site designs, and occassional ramblings.

Current Home: http://munerift.atspace.com/
Additional Art: http://aislynn.deviantart.com/

I just may be a familiar e-face to some of you, as I used to be hosted here oringinally under Nimancer before becoming hosted as Munerift, just back when phase II was getting the ball rolling. I moved to someone's personal server to give xepher space to someone who would need it more than I do, but now about two years later, and being e-homeless for awhile, I'd really love a spot on the refridgerator of the universe to once again post my artwork and call somewhere home.

Alot of my art is personal expression of being a Therianthrope, while I've also done pieces to reflect times in my life and even pieces for others. I've been known to write a story or two, but at the present moment all my previous stories have been eatten up in the great scheme of things.

I dont like being crammed into the "cookie cutter shape" of other art sites, though sometimes convienent for exposure, I find it hinders my individualism. Xepher has offered me a home here amongst other fine artists and crafters, and I hope that you'll all agree that I'd fit in quite nicely once again. I promise not to let myself into Jen's apartment and borrow all her e-food while she's away again, I swear! =D

As one last note: I think I saw Xepher's pet fish hanging out with PsychoBob last week at the Regal Cinemas here in Vancouver. They may be planning to take over the world. Could you imagine a place where fish float free, and humans are exaimed inside Human-bowls? *lol*

**Edit**

A friend told me the site above wont be accessed from her computer because the antivirus was blocking it ...so I uploaded it to *another* site if others should have the same problems out there.
