Actually, drawings can be squished down to around 70% without losing too much detail... =P

If you kept up with your dedication to the comic I would be very confidant in thinking you would make it with Xepher. I like the effort you put into every panel, and it seems like an intriguing story. 20 comics is a start, however I have a feeling we're going to need to see you work towards even more at a continual basis.

I get to crack my whip..! =P More more more! ^_^

Quote from: DarlosAlright, let me try to re-explain some points I think are important to note.         ...
Does all this make sense?
Oh yes, I dont know how I managed to skim over that in the first place. What I still see however is you didnt make the site you're using as an example..? I went to that site and poked around and offered my previous comment on that. =P

I'm glad to see you're able to make your own site, but I would love to see it, and I'm sure others would also like to see it too. Xepher can't really make any sort of a desicion with just written examples, he'd need to see what you would actually be putting on the site if you know what I mean?

In all reality if you are looking to whip something out before you leave, you may need to have plans for another hosting site like someone else mentioned because we're not seeing your actual plans in action here, and that's what we need.

Your pencil coloring might turn out more to your liking if you laid down a watercolor base first..? This of course would take considerable time more, but I think your grayscale is just fine.

Another note, you may want to check with Xeph about using the solfire banner exchange; I can't recal the exact on that or not.

Xepher? This poor kid's been waiting forever. At first I was unsure of him, but he's stuck around and continued on with the comic even as it's seemed he's been the only one posting to his own thread. I feel like he's took a dive into the community and become one of us anyway. =0)

General Chat / Happy Hump Day!

That's right, it's that magical day known as Hump Day; formerly known as Wednesday! It means TGIF is just around the corner and you've made it through the first half of the week. Everyone can partake and celebrate!

My boss is here (which she usually isnt, telecommutes from her home) and mentioned a three day weekend coming up. I told her "Dear god no!!!! I can't lose a day of pay!" but she checked with HR for me and I hit my 90 days on September 2nd, that means this next Monday I get to parade around in my jammies all day, hang out with my daughter; and get paid $13 an hour to do it!

Tell us your stories, what's happening with all of you this Hump Day?

Another note; you may not want us to see a "half-baked" site with ads, but I can assure you we're not judging on ads presented.

As your sister's probably already told you, Xepher's hosting doesnt have any pre-built pages or automated tools for you to use; once you've got hosting the magic is creating the site yourself.

Oh dear. I worked at a fireworks store a couple years back (an actual building that had been in the family for generations) and we were always afraid of the lazy smokers who didnt feel they had to go the 100 feet away for their smokies.
