The truth is I never really left. I was working three jobs til my feet were sore to the point of bleeding, and I never got to get on the plane to Japan. I was supposed to get there by December of 2005 but the school director pushed it back to February 2006 and then she didn't call me back.  So I was sad and took up a full time job that I was offered. And just last week as I was offered another way to get there, my dad has a heart attack. Nice.

So I guess I have to put some dreams on back-burner. Again. I hope nothing really changed round here. I know some things like Xepher's wanting to better the security and stuff.

So there it is. Hi, I'm home. I hope the reception is not cold.

That's just ridiculous! I mean, the best form of flattery is imitation; the best way to remember a time in your life is the songs and media that surrounded it; and all of that stuff will be prevented because people want money.

So what if someone utters pieces of a good Martin Luther speech or sings happy birthday? They should be grateful those things don't just vanish in time like other more important "intellectuality" or signs of times. Take it easy is what say about it.

"I got you babe" patented for copyright till 2064 or something. I don't know anyone who sings it anyway. I mean, that doesn't want a swift kick in the groin for being a lame-o.

I guess I all I needed was time to figure things out cus I fiddled with it and figured everything out. I'm going fiddle with this for a few hours more so I can get the hang of it.

I actually had a virus run through my putt-putt computer recently so I had to start from stratch again. So this time, I didn't get FTP but SSH to manage my files but I have been having trouble with the initial log on. Is it because I don't remember the password? Username? Or just don't get how you use it?

I've read and re-read that post with stellar tutorials on using it but its not connecting me. I'll try again tomorrow but does anyone have advice?

Hi. I just read the "Must See" post on the newsbox, so I'm here to give a few cents.

1. I'm okay with you rebuilding. I'm feeling that you're going to do what is right. Yoda.

2. I am not using that much. I've been using FTP but if you're getting rid of it I'll be willing to fiddle with SCP. I use PHP, will try CGI, but I haven't even tried to use an of the email thingies cus I am scared. Or easily frustrated. Whatever. MySQL and that is, I guess, it.

3. In the long run if using only SCP can prevent a hacking, it's better for you. I mean, it's your free time it'll eat up to undo the damage, right? So I for one won't say no. Its understandable that I'll have to learn a little more on computer stuff, but I'm a fast learner.

4. I have no idea. I'm content.

5. Compared to my attempts at other services like Tripod, FortuneCity, and Geocities this service is a walk in the park.

6. I think that the comic idea is genius. See, I can put comics that I have made in there to see if it'll create some revenue for you. I'll be happy to even make a new one for pay to see! Something with action and drama...

7. I don't think you should change a thing about the quality control for applications. I feel that if someone wants it bad enough, they wait.  It's gruelling but a process.  A panel of judges? Okay but I wouldn't want someone to talk tomatoes when all they know is onions...I find it hard for peers to judge when they have no idea what kind of work goes into it. If you select members based on their say, expertise on a subject, they can judge all they want - on that aspect alone.  I say don't force members into judging, some people aren't so opinionated as others.

I've contemplated long and hard on this...

I have decided that I'm going put the site on hiatus or close it down. I don't want you to think that I've just lost interest or just plain lazy or something. I am grateful to you for giving me a chance to show the world who I am for these two years.

The truth is: I'm getting a job to teach English in Japan. By December I will be leaving my home and my loyal PC to live in a small city of Kiryu, Gunma, Japan.  This is all exciting and stressful at the same time, but this is a dream that I have been wishing for since I graduated high school.  I'm thinking my worst case scenario is not having a internet connection to update the site properly, having only to resort to internet cafes or friends' PCs. Though buying a computer there is a high priority, I don't think it'll be till I'm settled and making money.

Right now, I'm working three jobs and finding it crazy hard to even find the time to sleep and eat square meals! I just wouldn't be fulfilling a promise (to myself) about updating the site and I have a heavy conscience as it is.

If you could tell me a way to have the comics still up, I'll eventually finish the stories for each.  Mind you, it'll be slow and paced - opposite from the way I've been updating with 10 or more pages an update.

I sincerely hope you understand.

I just want to have enough money to make it to Japan. I need enough for the first two months rent. Think I can manage it?

I've always wanted to see nature in that sense. The last time I went on a hike was when we went to Oak Hammock Marsh. And trust, it doesn't compare to the mountains and lakes in the pix.

Me First have some great covers. I like most of them much better than the originals. I think "I am a rock" is their best cover though.

FYI, Gracey, hilarious signature. Not many people quote Coupling... that show is hilarious. I'm talking the original british version, the short-lived amercian hack version was possibly the worst butchery ever. Really proves that point that England and America are two countries "divided by a common language."

Coupling is one of the funniest shows I've ever encountered. And I love Birtish TV. I'm addicted to Little Britain right now. The American remakes are always terrible though...I can't even stand to see the Office being butchered.

And I just found a punk cover of "Fraggle Rock"!!! I'm rocking on right now!!!
