I've never played drinking games either...but I'm not old enough to drink anyway...

I'm actually an ace at most board games and card games, fun way to waste time while the power is out. And trust me, it can be out for days up here in the mountains, so it's kind of the only thing to do for the whole weekend sometimes. Never been fond of chess, though....it's a joke between me and my friends that I'm the only person to play themselves at chess and lose.

As for other games, I'm a sucker for the RPGs. Not all of them mind you, I do have some standards, but I'm known to try most at least once, be it on the net, computer, console, or table. (I'm even devising my own dice-based system, but don't tell anyone! It's top secret.) Haven't tried LARP yet...granted there isn't anyone that I know of doing it over here and I'd probably be too shy to go if there was...I think I may have a social phobia or something.

Never really liked shoot-em-ups (my boyfriend is obsessed with them though so I play them anyway) or sports games, and the only driving game I ever liked was Crazy Taxi, so I guess you can scratch out car games from my xmas list too. Strategy games are okay sometimes, but I've never been a big fan.

Then there's the games that are just plain weird like Katamari Damacy, that was fun. I'll have to get past level 3 someday.

And then there's the simulator games. I dunno why they are so frelling addicting, but they are. I can play The Sims for hours and not realize that I can just do (most of) the same things by getting off my butt and actually doing them. I swear they have mind-draining powers.

What about the fact that I change my avatar regularly, and for no apparent reason?

I do the same thing too aetre, .now that you mention it....but it's not necessarily their current avatar. For instance, Tangle is still a llama.

I actually didn't think of a dog lifting its leg until you mentioned it..... but for some reason I thought of a blood-drenched psychopath with a meat cleaver. Guess I watch too many horror flicks.

I never have a plot or coherency. I make up some characters, stick 'em in a setting, and see what happens. It's more fun that way.

Well I already have a ton of things I want to work on, but 6 panels a week doesn't sound so bad . . . so sure, count me in. You can check my website for a (tiny) view of stuff I've done, and if you need a different style I'm always open to trying new stuff

Just so you know though, I am a notorious procrastinator, it'll be a bit of a gamble at first before I get the schedule in my system. Plus that my track record with my own comics is . . . sad at best, but I'm trying to get out of that habit. Just thought I'd be honest.

Anyway I've always wanted to try the collab thing, so if no one else works out I can be good ol' plan B!

hmmmm . . . writing 50,000 word novels during a month that ISN'T filled with midterms and cram sessions . . . blasphemy I say! But I'll do it P:

they should have nanowrimos all year I say! and I don't mean that year-round thing, I mean writing a new 50,000 word novel EVERY SINGLE MONTH. Who's with me!? . . . Okay I suppose no one here is that suicidal.

oh, right, someone mentioned the Boondocks. No offence to anyone who likes it, but I couldn't stand to watch that for five minutes. The least they could have done was give it more fluid animation like avatar (I like that one! I don't care if it is a complete rip-off of anime, it's cool). Granted gramps isn't about to shoot fire from his hands and ride around on a giant six-legged flying bison-beaver thing, but you get the idea.

I still like the comics though, those are always a fun read on the sundays (the voidish day when almost NONE of my 120+ bookmarked webcomics update X_x)

I never cried if I couldn't get a game, my parents raised me as a shrewd bargain seeker. I'd wait until all the silly people who NEEDED the game as soon as it got out to get them, wait a few months, and buy an only-used-once copy for 10 bucks less while everyone else was clamoring for the next big game release. Lather, rinse, repeat. Plus that my birthday is RIGHT after Christmas, so on the off chance that the popular game stocks survived, my parents can always go out for the after-xmas clearance sales. P:

Only problems to this strategy are those "best seller" games. Even the used ones are $50 sometimes . . . very daunting for a pack rat/bargain hunter hybrid who needs her gaming fix.

As for the 360.....meh. I'll wait and see. I never did get into the original anyway.
