I'd still have a computer with Win98/IE6 (or maybe even 5) on it, but my old PC died horribly right after I got my current one. Actually, it sorta-works now, but not in a usable way. IE already takes forever to open on either of them, anyway.

Xepher is the good choice. *nods*

Sometimes I wish I still had a machine with IE6 just to see what things are like. (I have IE5 on my mac but things appear to be transparent in it... lol)

Those two look good. Looks like I was typing in the wrong keywords, lol... :D

What's so illogical about Twitters and stuff?

Thanks for the link. <3

If I can get this one working the way I want, I'm gonna reestablish a chatbox on one of my sites. Yay!

I just discovered something about my new CSS'd Project Wonderful adbox on Millennium... it looks exactly how it should in Firefox, but nowhere else. Observe: http://millennium.senshuu.com/info.php (but not the main page 'cause I changed something there and am instead trying to center everything without the container box, which I think is the source of the problem e_e;;;;`)

All the easy PNG fixes are for PNG-8's...boooo. D:

This one tutorial I looked at looked pretty good until the end where it basically took the image, made it look like ass, and then made it magically transparent (yet look like ass)...just like PNG-8s do. I'm going to keep lying to myself and saying no one uses IE6 anymore...

(About a year or two ago I panicked when I saw my old splash page on my college's PCs in IE, because there were ugly grey blocks behind everything XD)

There needs to be more of them: y/n

Last one I used, uhh forgot what it was, but it kept generating really annoying popunders on my pages for some reason. May have been a different issue with my computers (it happened when I clicked inputs on Dictionary.com too, but I have no idea why that should have also happened on my mac), but it started having obnoxious advertising lines in it too. Or maybe that was the one I used before it... I'm sure I used every major third party tagboard at some point. c_c!

Oh yeah, it was cbox. Blah.

CSS is good. CSS has been kind to me!

But sometimes you wonder why it does strange things. You wonder why, when you tell a div that all its links are going to be at 0.7 opacity, only one of the links in the div complies to that rule - especially when another div with similar properties is doing as it should. :O

And you wonder why overflow:auto never ever seems to work. Any idea why it wouldn't?

(I'm to give you very specific examples very soon)

Oh... it looks like that one doesn't have anything like that. D: Poo. POO I say, on all these free tagboards! Each forgetting vital things that would actually make them useful!

On another note, every time I try to post on your kind of shoutbox, Sagebrush, it tells me I have cookies deactivated. *kicks tagboard in the face* No I don't have cookies off, I couldn't live without cookies! Back in my days of tagboard raiding, Myshoutbox would drive me nuts. ;x;

I'm so picky about these things that I never found one tailored to what I wanted that was better than the third-party hosting shoutboxes. For example, one that doesn't use iframes. D: One that'd manefest something like the text-only Twitter thing. Makes me wish I were a scripter.

Ohh, this one looks nice actually.

I like both. I'm leaning more and more towards Mac lately, though. Mostly because you can run Windows on them. |D Having both in one would be the best.

They both have good and bad things. I think people who complain all the time are just too impatient to even own computers.
