I'd so use one of these things if not for the calendar archive.

'Cause yeah, I do my archives manually. D:

Hmm...

If I do that though, well, as I mentioned, when I slapped "display:none" to the stuff that's supposed to load hidden, they wouldn't show at all, even after you clicked on the switcher link. Would that change if I took out that chunk of code? ('Cause yeah, having to list all that stuff there does bug me, though when I redo the about section I should get rid of around half of that)

I should have been a bit more specific, but I meant this link

cast page, spoiler link below Chains

Doesn't do anything when you click it, as opposed to all the header links in the about/world page.
...Wait, now they're not doing anything either. What the crap. D: They worked befoooore.

EDIT: And now that page works again. The javascript should automatically hide the div being hidden/shown by the link you click on, which is why I didn't have display:none on any of those divs in the first place. *nod*

It's just not automatically hiding it on the cast page, which isn't good. D:

Well, the switchmenu hide-show div thingy still isn't working on this page. http://lf.senshuu.com/cast.php (seen in the sparkling text link, the only one I have on that page so far)

And it's working on this page http://lf.senshuu.com/about.php which calls the exact same js file undeniably

and I copied over the same code

unless I screwed something up again lol. But I haven't noticed yet. >__>

Thanks by the way. I love knowing smart code people. :D (I'll never write JS/PHP myself, but I can mess with stuff to an extent, yaaay)

How are you more into math than grammar? If you're any normal sort of person, you should be actually utilizing grammar more often than math!

Oh my! I feel like such a huge doofus now. I forgot that Millennium's main page doesn't link to its Javascript file. XD;; LOL. Wow.

Now to figure out this other thing...

Art / Re: Comic Art Help

I should get a hold of that book. It would have helped to before I started trying to seriously make a comic, lol.

I've only been taking the "take aspects of what you like in other comics and put them in your own" approach. Not styles or premises or anything - for instance, how prominent expression are, fluidity of motion, inking methods, like that.

I play more energetic music when I'm doing websites, since I can phase it out or get into it more easily (depending on just what I'm doing). :D

Ah but my music mood has been inconsistent lately...

Like Xepher, I can't listen to music when I'm writing, unless it's instrumental or I've listened to it so much that I'm used to it. :D There aren't many songs that have directly inspired me to create anything yet, but I've got lyrics-inspired ideas sitting in my head that won't go away, and will get out eventually.

80% of the time I need music to draw to. <3 The other 20% I'm just sick of music for the time and actually work quicker with it off. Total silence can be pretty nice too.

Super late response and new question!

(1) I did that, and now the div that should be hidden is hidden, but clicking the switcher link still doesn't do anything. Meanwhile the other page using this exact method still works perfectly. Buh?

(2) I copied over the exact same (I mean it this time) poll-results-creating popup js from LF's front page to Mil's, and it works on LF's but not Mil's. I hate it when this happens ahh seriously I can't figure this stuff out
(Another weird thing with Mil's poll is that, after modifying the source code and copying THAT over from LF's page as well as the css I used to modify it, the poll still won't left-align like LF's. I think Millennium hates me for not updating it)

So it's really no surprise my pngs are huge, since I'm saving them from pretty high quality/detailed files, lol.

In this age of high speed, though, it's worth it. Not like there's much on my websites besides pictures, anyway.

Hehe... since graduation I've been emailing everyone everywhere my resume and portfolio (both of which are viewable here: http://www.jessicacantlope.com) and nobody's gotten back to me. :( I'm sure there are a few more relevant/likely and pie-in-the-sky places I can hit, though.

Maybe it's because no one's heard of my college. (But that's changing, because my college is awesome.)

I'm not sure what there was to be confused about. I just clicked the SFTP option for my connection hookup in Filezilla and presto!

Oh, I almost jumped. "Oh, crap, what if I'm breaking a rule I forgot?!"

Not like I get any donations, but I did set up a donation wallpaper thing anyway. :D Just in case.
