WaxPoteto is actually pretty reliable... I think. Or it was. ShiPainter is the horrible one.
I had an oekaki by the WaxPoteto people installed a few years back that I'd axed.

The text actually isn't there. I viewed the source, and there's nothing. I tried to install it by viewing source and looking at the names applied to the dropdowns and inputs (c_c;;`) but then I was taken to a 404 page. That's terrible. I dunno why that should happen.

It's probably very much their fault, because I tried to install another version oekaki of theirs before this one and the install page wouldn't load because of a php error. %D (Random too, I tried looking where it said the error was in the file and I couldn't see why)

The exact same thing's happening with one mod I just installed on the forum, too, though. It's weird. o__o

I think I took care of it now. And Firefox hasn't acted funny yet today. In fact right now its ram usage is being stable! Wowies! It's the only thing I have open right now, but it had been acting funny by itself for a while. Yaaay~

Hey, is this still going on?

Both my comics are young (Millennium's almost 5 but I restarted it) and I update slow as molasses (but it ensures quality? <:D), but shameless promotion is always grand.

I don't like discussing politics because it's boring and people get way, waaaay too fussy about things.

I read like fifty billion webcomics, how can I just choose one. D:

One that's really up there is Shades of Grey. Another is HERO. There're just some amazingly great/well-written/artistic ones out there. I'll link to them when I can answer this question better. <3

Oh yeah, I need to try to fix that shoutboard again. Almost forgot about this.

Margo, I use CuteNews already. It's pretty great. I just wish it didn't cost $50 to get rid of the "powered by" line. Or that its news archive didn't list out "1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9" and so on on the page when you have a lot of posts.

On another note: "current users online" script. I had one that used mysql/php and I did everything it asked, and for some reason it still screwed up horribly. I'll need to reinstall it before anyone can help yes, but it made me sad. Same with counter scripts.

My computer is turning four this year. ;x;

I'm getting a new one as soon as I can afford it, anyway. It's really not equipped for design work. Nor is it equipped for much of anything I do, including gaming... But I should be able to run stuff fine, considering my first computer (64Mb of RAM) could at least run Photoshop and AOL simultaneous at a reasonable functioning rate. >__>

Modern browsers DO have too much stuff. I never use toolbars, though. Don't need 'em.

Ohh, so these are free? Neat!
I hope they're easy to make skins for, too. I'm lazy for that but I probably will eventually.

Wow, I had to mod like half that stuff into phpbb back when I had it. XD (With the constant risk of pasting code into the wrong area because someone with very poor English skills writes bad directions on how to mod with their self-made code.)

A friend of mine bought a forum with like all these exact same features.

On a different note, I just tried installing wax poteto oekaki and the installer page came out like this:

Buh?

Oh mannn. That sucks. >__> Although if something like my password was going to be stolen it definitely would have been by now, 'cause I've only recently had this problem AND have been doing more important things on my computers...

This doesn't happen on my mac but I wonder if I can scan for things on it, too.

I'm super non-PC about coding. Oh, the limits to my technical side...

Anyway, that is amazing. I knew EXACTLY which comma you were talking about, took it out, and now everything works. I knew that except for that particular array and the banner function name that all three files were the same, because I made them at the same time. But I didn't know that extra comma would mess EVERYTHING up. Wow, code.

Hmm, that might be why something else didn't work... *_* This is no time for me to go code-geeky but ah~ Thanks~

I think the amount of RAM Firefox is using (between 77mb and 190mb for my average 3-12 tabs) is freaking insane on both my PC and mac. I can't even run it with Photoshop and/or AIM running decently anymore. It's sad.

My other browsers tend to do it now too, and I'm not sure if it's any way linked to my possible adware problem. But Firefox generally does it the worst. (Opera is second worse, but it's barely worth using anyway.)

if you search "firefox using too much ram/cpu" you'll find a lot of people are having this problem.

Any suggestions?

I know PHPBB is generally kind of terrible (it's the ezboard of self-installed PHP message boards, if I understand correctly), and I don't want to spend hours re-modding script just to have cool things that all forums should have.

I was thinking of setting one up on Invisionfree, but I'll see what you all suggest!

Could that mean I have adware?!

'Cause...'cause it sounds like it. I get popups when I click in input boxes on certain websites. Man, that bugs me now...
#254
Wow, it's nice for you to take initiative like that and do that.

It was getting on my nerves too. It started being like Opera's addy bar, except Opera's is a bit less stupid.

I hope you can get this into add-on form. <3

Cbox keeps sneaking popups into my site. Not to mention ruining my clean code.

I forgot if I ever tried shoutpro, but I'm gonna try it now.

EDIT: and now I've noticed the lack of timestamping and the need to use iframes...

*sigh*
