Announcements / PHP/MySQL Temporarily Offline
May 19, 2006, 06:24:05 AM
All's fine here. I was planning on learning...whatever I needed to learn about MySQL (I wanted to implement some different counter codes and whatnot...maybe one day work toward a comment system on my artsite after it's up), and I was going to ask about that and PHPMyAdmin too. But...uh... guess I won't have to bother now. I really would have liked to know about this stuff but I'm fine with this new way if it's better. 0_0

I must sound like a total newb... Probably because as far as these things are concerned I am one.

I'm a big fan of RPGs, but it's really Any Game That Will Hold My Attention, including oldschool SNES movie-franchise-games. (Like Lion King.)

I saw some of Mac Hall's Katamari comics. XD Haha. Katamari's something you really don't get unless you play it...I know I was confused.

General Chat / What types of games do you like?
December 18, 2005, 10:36:19 AM
Uhhhh I like Video Games. I used to love board games when I was younger (before I knew video games existed) like Trouble and stuff, but now it's video games.

RPGs. This includes those of the MMO variety!
Platformers <3
Adventure games.

Whee, I'm so generic.

I like short one-word aways because I'm lazy. Also, song lyrics. Not profound songs or anything, mind - horribly silly songs.

Quoteterror has a name
it's "mom"
For when Mom goes RAAAHHGGH INTERNET, because it ties up the phoneline.

QuoteSending things to Earth...

Maps...Programs...Music...
Inspiration...Dreams...Light...
From the Katamari Damacy obsession era earlier this year (when I got it)

QuoteI could be downloading something while safely nestled into my bedsheets... I could be playing a video game... I could be drawing... I could even be studying. The point is, I'm away.
QuoteTALK TO THE AWAY MESSAGE!!!
Laaaame.

And then there are inside joke aways. Whee.

But I neeeeed them, because I'm continuing a partially developed idea. One I want to make serious. ...Later on.

Agh, I should prolly start something new for my first attempt. But then I'll be clawing out my eyes until November/next January.

Misc. Content / Paw logo
December 08, 2005, 09:10:19 AM
LOL! Good idea! Well, I like it! Don't know much about real estate and their general logos and such, but I like it.

I'm not really fond of paw logos in general, though. Makes me think too much of high school sports teams and rescue kennels.

Maybe your logo could be an actual dog raising its leg. Haha... *pied*

General Chat / Now I'm all sorts of curious....
December 08, 2005, 09:08:01 AM
I'd always do something. Even if I had a billion dollars, I'd be doing something. But since it'd be related to graphic design or illustration, or writing - since that's what my job would ultimately be, it wouldn't be very joblike, since that's what I do!

Menial labor? Office jobs? PAH!

I hope I'll never have to work in a cubicle... ;x; Although if I get the job I most likely can this summer, I will be. I don't really want to work behind a cash register either, so...

Sleep is high priority for me. If I got a job during the semester, I would literally do nothing but job, school, sleep. I just slept 12 hours the other day after my last class let out. Scary thing is, I could sleep MORE. But I found out that I'm more willing to do creative personal projects when I have a schedule, so it's a lot easier for me to just sleep and do nothing now. I don't feel like doing anything I said I would when classes were still going on. :( But I felt like doing EVERYTHING while I had everything ELSE to do...

Aaah I'm rambling!

They need one in July. :O PERFECT!

Go on a vacation to a beach and write amongst the sand! Unless you don't want to get any into your keys...

I'm trying to make outlines now, and I just can't seem to find a plot OR coherency! GO SENSHUU!

General Chat / Comics
December 08, 2005, 08:54:29 AM
lol, oh yes, PoL is on this server isn't it. XD And there are lots of anthros here, aren't there?

YAY! *love*

I'm totally silly.

(As for Boondocks again, the animation could be more fluid, but they prolly don't have as much of a budget. But I loved the samurai dream. <3 Hahaha... I'll overlook that. And I absolutely love Avatar...)

I want to read Chugworth and many other popular comics soon. Just to see what the hype's all about, 'cause sometimes it's underwhelming. (I know it's getting published with Seven Seas, as well as Earthsong and Inverloch, which I will buy...<3)

(PPG... Can be good, can be bad. Waaaaa)

Oh, oh, I really need to read No Need for Bushido as well.
