If there's no objections, I'm going to go ahead and start posting the current comic page for convenience.

With all that said, I'm wondering if any of Bernin's group knows about the demonic part of his family. I'm guessing he wouldn't be the most forthcoming about that kind of information, but maybe he confided in one of them?

Announcements / Yesterday's Downtime (2015-09-...
Last post by Xepher - September 22, 2015, 11:20:26 AM
Many services were offline yesterday, between about 8am and 3pm Pacific Daylight Time. Everything should be fixed now.

The cause was a filesystem glitch that caused one of the disks to behave like it was out of space, even when it should've had many gigabytes to spare. This prevented MySQL from running properly, which meant eventually DNS went down, and also caused problems for mail delivery (as new messages couldn't be created in home directories.)

It should all be fixed now, but if you encounter more problems, please let me know.

My apologies for the downtime.

Can you give us an estimated time on when you will update the character page for chapter two?

my favorite 2 characters are Ember because because we see more of her and know her more and the new healing class character in chapter 2 whose name has not yet been disclosed because who doesn't like a good healer.
Im still waiting on a good MMO style music video parody of I need a hero named I need a healer.
If that exists tell me.

*facepalm* An error log for the webserver filled up the root partition, and the mail server couldn't make temporary files for message handling. I cleared out the large log files and things seem to be working again.

Thanks for the reply.

Using the Webmail interface just now, I tried sending a test message to myself. The response on hitting Send: "An error occurred! Failed to send message." That's all. I enabled all cookies for this test. I am able to view messages, though.

Using Thunderbird, when I hit Send for a message, I get a delay on "Connected to xepher.net...", followed by (in this case) "An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded:  Service temporarily unavailable.. Please check the message recipient tsa-talk@lists.integral.org and try again." Same when sending to myself.

I think I've fixed the webmail issue as well. Please let me know if you're still having problems. And, of course, the details of those problems.

PHP was upgraded, explaining the errors on the front page. I can't believe I didn't notice those earlier. As for mail... I use thunderbird daily myself, and haven't had problems.  Webmail I'm looking into, but if you can let me know what errors you get with thunderbird that will help.

Using Thunderbird, I'm unable to send mail, getting an error that says "mail server unavailable". It's happened a couple of times recently. When I use the Webmail interface, I'm unable to log in; the site never responds to my login.

The main xepher.net page has "announcements" that are a bunch of SQL errors.
