Banner/Newsbox Question

Not really sure this is the right place to put this, but here goes, anyway:

I uploaded the banner/box ads for the newsbox, and added them to my page (the index, for Beastling (Not PE, yet)), yet they don't seem to show up in the cycle.  Is there a delay before they'll show up, or did I muck something up, somewhere?

I'm not the only person who doesn't see them, so I dunno'.

I mentioned it somewhere, (yet even I don't recall where, so I don't blame you for not seeing it) but currently I'm having to manually check and enable user banners, as I haven't written the script to do it yet. Generally I'm checking about every day or so for new uploads, so there is a bit of lag. I'm probably going to write the scripts to automate it later today though, in which case response should be nearly instant. It'll check that you've upload two valid image files, and that a newsbox with your username set has been viewed by someone within the past week. I may turn that week down to 48 hours or something though, to keep people from hiding the newsbox on some rarely seen page, yet still getting their stuff shown on the front page of most other sites. Either way, it'll be automated and pretty much instant, both for putting your images into the rotation, and pulling them out of it if the newsbox stops being seen (e.g. you delete the page with it, or it breaks somehow, etc.) For now, I've added yours (and robynie's) into the rotation manually.

A'right.  I thought I'd seen something, but couldn't find it.

I was afraid I'd mucked it up, as I'd accidentally uploaded one (the box) and not the other (the banner) at one point.
