I hope to make Raspberry Bushes my main site that will include my art, manga, fanart, fanfiction and stories. Since I just recieved my Wacom Tablet, I can hopefully update more and create more colored works. This will be for both Half Soul (original manga), and my other nameless works that will be created here. I'm trying out different styles of anime and enhance my writing skills (I can write, but only if it responds to my mood), so this will be a good place for me to show them for critiques and comments. Or even suggestions.

I've been drawing anime for over 6 years and though I'm not part asian, and I have never followed classes, I'm glad I've come this far in art. Supposedly it runs in the family (mum, big sis, dad).
I'm also tired of having to bring my artbook to school everyday because my friends want to see them all the time. The purpose of this site would be to take them off my shoulders so I can breath. xD

I'd really like to make this site, Raspberry Bushes (I like raspberries... can you tell?) so I can show my art to others online. Not that I'm a show-off. I just like getting comments (people treat me like crap at school... drawing gives them a different idea of who I really am and what I do in life besides crying over movies. xD)

Damn, I'm nitpicky, but how does being asian, half asian, or not asian have anything to do with ones artistic ability?  I'm asian and have absolutely no artistic ability.

It's just that I found out alot of them can draw pretty well, even though they ignore it.
Don't feel aimed. xD But it's true that not ALL of them have artistique talents and that's fine with me.
That was just an opinion.

That's doubtful... I find that having site seems to discourage people from updating. Also, DA doesn't count as a "temp site." You need to show what your website might look like, not just a few pictures you uploaded.

What Xepher means by this is that you need to come up with a website of your own. Why do you want webspace? For a website to house your project stuff right? So basically get yourself a free temporary host and build a website that's something like what you're looking to create here.

This is also said multiple times in a lot of the older applications here. >.>

Hm....I've looked through that possibly three times. I didn't find anything that really caught my eye.
If anyone could post the link to a free web hosting service, that would be excelent.

Aimed?  I don't feel aimed.  I see many talented artists out there who draw in the manga style and they start out with, "Okay, I know I'm not Asian...." when being whatever race has nothing to do with talent.  You're the one depreciating yourself!  Be more confident in your abilities, rather than schlepping it off on something stupid.

I'm not sure what "schlepping" is, but other than that, Yeah!  Be pround of what you can do, not ashamed of what you can't!

gee, Asians aren't invincible. They have to go through the same crap as anyone did to get where they are; the difference is some asian parents push their kids a little harder so the kids are used to over acheiving. Or not. It's of no relevance to talent/skill.

Anyways, about the temp site: you don't really need anything to catch your eye if you just wanna whip something up real fast for us to see. Just find something that will work and then upload. No need to be too nitpicky about scraps. We just want something.
