Testing a potential forum Hazard
« on: May 31, 2007, 04:06:30 am »
Its seems That I was able to lock a thread. earlier.

testing.

EDIT: Yes, apparently I have the ability to

"      Remove Topic  |  Lock topic      "

at least of threads I create.

Is this intentional? or something overlooked?

Weird, though it could be standard behavior if you're the topic owner. Try it on another thread that's not yours. Just unlock it if it does work, and let me know. It's also possible your "Sr. Member" status somehow escalated your privileges. That would worry me. I don't really know though, as I'm new to this forum software.

I think it's if you're the topic owner.  I get those options with my topics, but not with this one.

Xeph can disable that, btw, it's just enabled by default.

Yeah, I figured so. As such, I'm not really worried about it. If people start abusing it, then we'll see.
