While the <center> tag still works in most browsers, it was deprecated as of HTML 4.01 or something (http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_center.asp), so you might want to stay away from it.. You can centre layouts using CSS, though as tickyhead mentioned, this can be a bit complicated..

http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ is a very good web page validator that will check for things like deprecated tags, improperly closed tags, duplicate tags, etc., and give informative error messages about what error occurred where, and often suggest how to fix it. Here is a link to the page I get when I run your test site through the validator: http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fcelebratefilmstoo.bravehost.com%2Findex.html&warning=1&profile=css21&usermedium=all
Hope that helps.

Why the hell did they get rid of the Center tag!?!?!?! I suppose that explains I had been sometimes having problems...

I'm going to say no on this application. Don't get me wrong, I can see some artistic potential in a few of those videos, but from what I see so far, and with the template you gave, I don't think you're ready for (or in need of) a full website. What you're doing so far fits perfectly with youtube/myspace, far more so than it would fit in with the purpose of xepher.net at this point. I wish you the best of luck with your projects though.

well do you think it is possible if I could apply for (not filming) but artwork that I do then? Not a sudden change of heart, I just didn't know if I should try my films or my artwork on the decision for a website here, and seeing that my films are not in interest maybe my artwork could be hosted here?

Well, you should really have tried for both in the first place if you were planning to have both on your site. But heck, why not. Wow us with some art and I'm always willing to reconsider. I make no promises though.
