Sometime this summer I wanna showcase Xepher.net on The Webcomic Beacon Podcast... primarily for webcomics that are somewhat-updating. We can also shamelessly pimp other Xepher site's too. I'll probably tie in a theme of "Promoting Yourself" with it to, and make the who show a bit comedic with "Shameless Promotion", which tends to be entertaining.

Sometime this summer... June/July maybe... maybe July More likely.

If there is anyone from the Xepher Community interested, post here. There are some I might contact via e-mail because i don't think they check the forums that much :P

Yeah, most here probably don't check the forums much. I suggest obviously talking to Amber at DMFA, and Reinder at ROCR (though he frequents the forums.) Reinder especially seems to have a lot of thoughts about comic promotion and the whole "business" of webcomics. While I enjoy quite a few other comics and sites here, none leap to mind as... well, forgive me everyone... as "professionally managed." Most of the sites here are done for reasons of personal satisfaction, and don't seem too concerned with promotion or anything really beyond just telling a story they enjoy. Of course, even as I type this, I'm sure there are quite a few exceptions who'll prove me wrong shortly. :-)

Anyway, good luck with this Fes... if you need/want anything from me personally, just let me know.

That pretty much:

Sums me up, yeah.  I've got less idea how to promote things than your average frog, but I'm updating my comics quite regularly--I've gotta, or I'll lose the Daily Grind Contest...  :)

I have very little idea how a podcast works, either--I'm "old media," I'm afraid, actually broadcasting two hours every Sunday afternoon from the radio station at the local university.  But let me know what precisely's involved, and I'll be happy to stammer incoherently at you.

Hey, is this still going on?

Both my comics are young (Millennium's almost 5 but I restarted it) and I update slow as molasses (but it ensures quality? <:D), but shameless promotion is always grand.
And wasn't it you who told me,
"The sun would always chase the day"?

I completely forgot!

Ok, Not really :P

I'll pick a Sunday or Saturday sometime in September I think... that or October.

Something far enough ahead where people can coordinate better to get on the show.
