Sad? Need to get off your chest? Write it here.

I saw this in another forum, and I thought it was a pretty nice cheerful thread.

So, tell us what made your day/week/month/life!

Feel free to keep posting with each new happy update.

huh... I'll never be able to participate in this thread... ever....

Gee, thanks for ruining all the happy, Fes. Now we're going to be depressed, which is about as opposite from the thread's original purpose as you can get. :\

I'm sad because I'm burned out with my job, have no direction or purpose in life, and don't even have a girlfriend.

I'm 25 years old, I live in my parents' basement, I can't get a job, and my mom has pancreatic cancer.

I actually didn't feel pretty low until I thought about it.

For the record, I don't mean this thread to be a total bummer. I just think that maybe it's a good way to get things off your chest. :X
(And it's also a way to help out your friends.)

Griever:
Don't worry about living with your parents! There's a difference between living off you parents, and bumming off them. You're trying, and it'll work sometime. Look forward to your wedding, I'm sure it'll be beautiful. :)

Xepher:
You make so many people happy by giving them a chance with all the site hosting you do! You open up so many opportunities for artists of all sorts, and you give the world a chance to see all the beauty that is created by people.
Bummer about the job, though. I really wish I could help you out there. My dad always finds ways to perk up his job by just adding funny stuff. He actually made TPS cover sheets for all the reports at his work (y'know, from Office Space). Maybe give something like that a shot?

I'm sad because tomorrow is the last day of my first year of college. I've made so many good friends and I'm in love with my boyfriend (happiest I've been in forever). I'm going to miss all of my friends and have nothing to do all summer.

Miluette

I'm sad because I've been out of college for a year, the economy crashed, I have no job (not even my usual temp. ones), and no one wants to hire me for things I can do. D:

I don't want to work at Best Buy or Wal-mart or McDonalds, don't you understand!?

Also one of my friends is moving for the summer, and her apartment was the anime club's home base (we're really just a bunch of geeky friends now), so the club is officially disbanded.
And wasn't it you who told me,

*nod* My club went through a similar scenario.

Mom died Sunday, May 24th.  Bouncing back slowly.  See Happy thread.

Wow... that sounds like an emotional roller coaster. Congratulations and condolences.

Trip to Puerto Rico went poorly:
1. Sick the entire time and spent most of the time in the bedroom.
2. Person next to us had two very loud babies that cried non-stop.
3. Monthly time came. Couldn't go swimming at all.

And my condolences, griever.

griever

Thanks...things are awkward now but it will sort itself all out soon, I hope.  I dunno.  More worried about Dad than anyone else.

@JM: I sympathize with the babies, but it still irks me too.  Had that multiple times to and from Japan and around the 8th hour, I really wanted to cry too.

Senshuu you should host the club at your house.

As for the economic situation, yup.  I hear you.  Coming out of University to not get a REPLY even on one job application...  It's getting me down.  Understand, before this happened I had never once not been offered a job I applied for.  *le sigh*

I just applied for a really nice job.  Why don't I think I'm going to get it? *DOOM DOOM*

Miluette

Amuletts, I live with my parents and that automatically makes everything way more inconvenient. Otherwise, yeah.

Griever ... D: My best wishes to things stabilizing in the easiest manner possible. (Does that sentence make sense? I dunno I'm tired, hate being tired for no reason)

Anyway, still haven't heard back from my interviewer. Not saddening, but I was excited for a little while.
