Site Description: Okies, this might take a while...
My site is an Art site. I will post up art about every once a week, maybe post up a comic and work on another chapter of my story. it's got fanart, fan characters, a news box with updates information, and I REALLY like the buttons for surfing through comics ^^

Okies, since I haven't actually got it on the net yet, I'm gonna show you a few of my pics. On some of them, the digital colouring is better or worse, because I'm a quick learner and I've picked up a lot of pointers.
here are a few:

Trust me, not all of my pictures are as graphic as this one

My kougra, Abe

A comic I did that got a positive reaction.

I love this one ^^ It's an African Tiger Naga.

Hopefully four pictures will be enough, so yeah.

Wow! I'm liking what I see! Please show more, like a site or concept site!

As I am biased I love webcomic stuff, so I hope you end up doing one.

Also, You mentioned something about a "Story". Is this just text, or did you have art to go with the story (as though "graphic novel" or a text story with pics to go with it, or something?), out of curiousity.

Art looks pretty good. But like Fesworks said, some evidence you can do a site design/html would be good. Also note, I'm slow to getting to these things sometimes, so have patience.

Additionally, in responce to the webcomic sample/idea you have posted there... I'd have to argue that it still could perhaps be karma behind the irony... which would be the insult to the injury :P ;)

hehehe

I may do art to go with the story, but yes, for now It is just text. The arlier chapters are a little dodgy, bit my writing skills have gotten better.

Yea, I suggest putting together a sample site on one of the free + ads sites or something, so we can get an idea of how what you have will come together.

I like your art. That riding hood, alice, and goldilocks(?) pic rocks. hehe...
I'd also like to see a site though... or maybe a deviantart gallery if you have one? lol

It helps if you actually provide a link to your DA gallery so we can see it. :-)

Also, as I mentioned before, evidence you can do basic website design. There are no automated systems for making a site here.

Frontpage is fine. I'm don't care how you do it, I just need to know you can do it without any tools being provided by the host. E.g. No geocities or tripod site-builder pages.

No, nothing like that, just Frontpage. Does that mean you can host me?

haha, what he's asking is to give a link to a web page that you put together... as though it was your main page (like an example, showing that you can make a page on your own, with a sample page as proof).

Like make a few HTMLs of what you would plan on uploading to an account here if you get accepted, and upload those to some other free site for the time being, so we can see what you do.

What Fes said still holds, but I'll answer your question to say "it looks promising."

Well, I do have some pretty inpressive (if I do say so myself) HTML on my Neopets user page. It's located here: http://www.neopets.com/randomfriend.phtml?user=deathbypickles43
You'll need to turn the sound up, it plays music ^^

Can't view the page because you have to be logged in.

sad to admit it, but I have a neopets login... have not used it for like 2-3 years though :P

hahaha! My pet is dying!

The page you linked to has mostly stuff in there from the default, though I know its not a template. (There is a text field with the whole pages code for editing).

Your pet's pages have some nice art pics on them, as well a customize paragraph or sorts under them.

The music is not loading, but I'm using Firefox to browse too...

I can't honestly say that there is a lot to show there (as far as wide range of HTML ability). As always the art looks wonderful. But do know that Xepher.net has no templates or pre-made pages to work with. It's all done yourself in raw form or with a program like Frontpage or Dreamweaver, and you upload it. From what I can tell, you have a basic grasp of HTML code, and I'd be interested in seeing what you can do on a page you made from scratch.

Personally, I recommend getting a Geocities.com account or Atspace.com account and making a page from scratch and upload  it with some images and link it back to us. If you need an FTP program search for "Core FTP Lite" (if its still available) and it is very simple to use.

I mean, I'm not sure if Xepher is going to bother signing up for a neopets account to view what you have. Don;t get me wrong, you do have awesome art, but the neopets page only shows a limited knowledge of HTML usage with a given default page. My only thought is that Xepher is just worried about people using an account for a linkable file-dump (like how photobucket works). Don't get me wrong, He says personal art sites are fine too, but I think he just booted a couple of old users that were basically just hotlinking files without really having a site.

Also, Xepher, sorry if I've been out of line in this reply.

I only have a limited HTML ability, and my website in done entirely in frontpage, so I don't need any templates or anything.

So... are you going to upload the html onto geocities so that you can show us?
I don't have a neopets account so I can't see... ;_;

Yeah, your art looked promising, but since I can't view the neopets page, I really need another example for site design.

Screencaps of sorts of the site.  It's a pretty standard Neopets page.

Very standard.

I know Neopets does allow its visitors to create an actual webpage, but at the same time it's all templated.

You could try using a design tool like Dreamweaver or Frontpage to create your page for us.
