@exileddreams: lol i totally did not see that long dropdown menu... that proves that either i was really sleepy or i'm getting blind @_______@"
Ah i was actually directing that more to fesworks than  for your images. hehe  but always find a good balance for quality and file size, that is all :3 hehe no problems.

Quote from: ChowIt would be really nice to see an example site that featured some of the content you talked about it your application. ...just wondering if we could see that.
I don't want to create new site at atspace or freewebs only to demonstrate some examples, so try this: http://dcsnake.narod.ru/root.htm
If this doesn't works, I'll have to use atspace.
the link you provided takes quite a while to load... even though your file sizes are tiny.
ok, the background makes it too difficult to read the text you have included. To make it easier on the viewers eyes, either make the background lighter or change something so that the text could be read.
ack i have to sleep... things are loading too slowly for me~  so i'd leave it to others to provide more opinions ^^

i agree with pigeon wing, the first 2 pages caught my attention. Great way to start. ^^
Yes atspace.com would be a good place to put up a sample of what you would have up on xepher.net when you get hosted.

It's currently really late for me, so i haven't gotten far on your comic, i'll check it out some more later on. Too bad there isn't an archive link so that i can see how many pages you have on this comic~ (or maybe the link is there... just that i can't seem to find it XD ) coz it seems the length of the comic is valued as it reflects the effort and determination. Though judging by the amount of traffic you have (counter) there's little question that the comic would be too short or that you would discontinue it anytime soon (as you have quite a fanbase :3). ^^  Artwise, it is quite nice (i especially like the background pic to the right).

@feswork: drunkduck is a free online comics webspace provider. As you can see, a big fat ad that fully disrupts the viewing pleasure of the creator as well as comic viewers. XD
Sidenote, for your images, you don't have to take up maximum file size for jpeg. Your type of images, with not much difference in tones, can be saved at 65-70% quality jpeg (up or down a little if there is too much pixelation) and still retain quite good quality (doesn't sacrifice much quality) with the advantage of a smaller file size (bringing it down from almost 200kb to around 50-60kb). It makes loading faster, which keeps the readers happy, as they don't kill off as many kbs. ^^

@darlos: if you have a site like that up, just post the url so that other people can look at it, to see that you are competent .___."

it shouldn't be too difficult~ ^^

Quote from: DarlosYeah. I said already that I haven't made a site, and that the gallery is on my sister's site.
mmn, the thing is that they would want you to have a website "made" to show your skills. They don't just want your words on it ^^

Woot. Have lots of fun there. I have yet to set foot in Japan... but one day i shall!

Onto the application:
-It's best to change the username to all non-caps.
-It's outlined in the guidelines ^^
-Also, usually the people critiquing the applications would want to see a sample website, so that they can determine your skills at website building (as there are no website builders when you gian an account).
-Samples of your art or a link to your gallery (if you have one) should also be included.

Ok, now i'm off to sleep. Nights!

ah i would love to try my hand at teaching kindergarten... it's a shame that I don't have any qualifications related to looking after children or teaching. *sigh*
Friends say i work well with kids. It would have been less stressful and more job vacancies in teaching.

Hope you are having fun and that the kids don't give you hell. ^^

so office jobs for me T^T

@gracey: Any fun? Is it like any other retail job?
I would have thought you'd get lots of bludging time.. if you are able to find a decent hiding place.

Ah, I haven't worked in retail yet.

I've been stuck with data entry jobs for quite some time. I want something more customer service based. *nods*

I like helping people out. I tried telemarketing, I'm quite a failure there. XD

ooo day care. So many cute little kids... til they wreak havoc on the centre. XD

Ah XDD
There are no Walmarts over here... well none that I know of. So, if I wanted to go to go one... I'd have to travel quite some distance. XD

Most probably I was from the older forum... I do recall having some posts under my belt.
I tend to lurk and read up on things in this forum. XD Just like what I'm doing now XD

@griever: lol 12 hours of driving? Which exotic place did you wander off to?

woah, loading the sheezyart page gave me quite a wake up call!
I was also loading your sample webpages and I didn't know which page the music was blasting from (i had the volume at max level, since last night) XD

I would also prefer the 2nd wider version of your sample site. Less cramped... and there's no need for a sideways bar. ^^

Crazy amounts of ads stretching your frame O-O"

Ah, the javascript facts. I didn't know about that. Interesting. ^^

^^ The gallery pieces that I clicked, are working fine. ^^
