IMPORTANT UPDATE:

"The Colors You Shine" art challenge has been extended to 9/19. :]

I haven't got my tablet charger yet (still too friggin poor) but I do have my scanner. And I think this'll be a fun one, if more peeps get a chance to submit.

Good luck everyone!  ;D

Nice layout! It's a bit too big for my screen though. :X My resolution is only 1280 x 800 pixels.

Thanks for all the help! I like a bit of humor too. My dad tried to help me write a resume, but he's way too executive-like to really relate. :X

It's hard to figure out certain job stuff since I'm in an entirely different state (college in Virginia, home in Hawaii). Hopefully the employers won't be too bad.

Hooo boy, I'm starting to feel like an adult. :O

I never really learned how to write one. I'm hoping to get one done over this weekend, but the university help offices are closed until Monday (also because we have a tropical storm). Can someone gimme a hand and tell me how it all works? E.g. the format?

Thanks! :]

Sometimes pop-up blockers give sites crap about that (or browsers can get all confused). I think it's a better idea to display art using either a frame layout or opening the pictures in new windows/tabs.

There's also a flash script out there for displaying images you could try, but then again, some browsers might have issues with that, too.

I'd say spend a bit more time livening up the text of your site. The constant Times New Roman font gets to me. >_> Maybe make a few more image buttons for your menu items to give your site a little more spunk.

Hmmm I tried that but it just told me that the page was not found...

You could try BraveNet.com, they're pretty awesome for free hosting. :D

I agree with tickyhead that the work is pretty good, and I'd like to hear more from the other members that will be contributing to your site, be it one or many.

Looking at that example site ya got, it's a nice design with good colors, but the constant Times New Roman font bothers me. But whatever, your choice, just throwing my two cents out there.

Hope you get your website here!

I was one of those rare (?) kids who liked the pitch black when it came to bedtime. My cousins would always want a nightlight or the door open, and then I'd tell them that there were no monsters (I was a bossy kid, haha)

Still, classic monster-in-the-closet themes are always fun. :) I think it represents the imagination children have, whether it creates something they love or fear.

Awesome sketch!   :)

Yeah, brush pens are by far my favorite inking pens.  ;D I like the swooshy lines and the texture it gives the piece. Big fan of those Faber Castell pens too :D

Knowhow Trading Post / External Print Server

Anyone know how to step an "External Print Server"?

My new printer didn't come with a USB cable (apparently you have to buy it seperate, dang-it) so I thought I might take the time to learn how to set up a wireless printer, if possible.

Thanks! :)

(Oh yeah, if the info is needed, my printer is an Epson Stylus C120. I have a Dell Latitude D620 laptop.)
