My last computer met with an unfortunate accident involving a sink, so I'm trying to set up Thunderbird on a new one. I've told it to use IMAP,, default port 993, SSL/TLS authentication (there's no "TLS" only option), with "Encrypted Password" or several other choices, and I just get "connection refused" when trying to check my mail that way. Ideas?

Actually, it should be IMAP, port 143, and STARTTLS if you want security, and "normal password." Outgoing SMTP is port 25 (or 26 if your ISP blocks 25) also with STARTTLS and normal password.

Thanks! Sorry for not letting you know sooner.
