How long is your trip?

Have you posted something at Drunk Duck about this?  There's a lot of noobies there that might be plot-stuck.  You could also advertise on Online Comics... if you can get it to load. <.<;

Hah, maybe I'll have a contest on my site with this as the prize, and you'll have another crack at winning it.

Does this iTunes thing expire?  Also, is it a physical card, or is it a coupon code?

I have no idea what I would get if I bought a new car.

I have a 94 Dodge Truck, V6.  I backed into a concrete pillar with it and suffered no damage.  All it did was straighten out the rear bumper, which was dented when I bought it.  So in that sense - the darn thing is made of American steel - it's worth having.  MPG stinks, though.  Someone in a truck hit my 94 Ford Probe in a parking lot, and just nicking it did over $3000 worth of damage, since the plastic front bumper and headlight had to be replaced.  That's what's keeping me from getting a new car now, since they're all plastic, fragile things.

The best vehicle I ever had in terms of maintenance and MPG was a 91 Toyota truck, manual transmission, V4.  It was real metal, but had like no parts at all in the engine (comparatively speaking), and I could coast downhill a lot, so it was great.  I wish I had kept it.  Unfortunately it was too small, so I traded it for a 97 Kia Sportage, which was a piece of junk.  It fell apart on me, literally.  The front axle was broken, and the damage was not reported when I bought it.

Try specifying a height for #container and maybe setting position:relative for #right.

buh... I'm no css expert, but try replacing "div" with "#container."

Your definition thing is saying "div" has a margin of 5px, so I think all divs are getting a 5px margin - it's assigning a 5px margin to the right div which is overriding the width specification.

So, now you have:

div {specs}
#left {specs}
#right {specs}

and in the body it's:

<div>
<div id="left">stuff</div>
<div id="right">stuff</div>
</div>

Try making it:

#container {specs}
#left {specs}
#right {specs}

<div id="container">
<div id="left">stuff</div>
<div id="right">stuff</div>
</div>

Things that are nice:

Batch uploading image files/ability to put them in via FTP (if you're converting from another system to the new one) without having to enter info for each file separately.
Being able to go back and change files, insert new pages between pages already posted, being able to update file information later.
Navigation by page, by chapter, by keyword, by date, by archives...
Having a comment section for each page, a general comment box (shoutbox), a forum, a fan gallery, (SPAM protection is the big thing here).

Something that would be cool, especially for those users who have little web design ability, would be the ability to drag and drop components to different locations on the screen.
