And now we're developing the idea of an "open-source Avengers" team (currently called the Peacemakers) which includes Jenny Everywhere, the Outworlder, and Astro-Man.  We'd like to have more than three members so if anyone has ideas for other possible characters that might fit we would appreciate it.

You had that other open character's website, correct? If so, I need to get both of you guys on the Beacon sometime to talk about your websites, if at all possible. I know I've said it before, but things always fall off the back burner.

Well, I personally got busy, and no one else really showed any interest (not enough people at the very least).

Maybe once I get the site all redesigned, it will be easier to keep things up and going.

Is this a baby naga? Some kind of dragon? Some sort of cross-comicDimensional creature that prevents you from really sealing off the Psi universe and keeping you in the focus of the fire axe?

Hmm... old literature talks about the "world dragon", or "world serpent" ... now the idea of a cross-worlds version of that ...

While I get the reference, there are no plans to incorporate a "muse character". It's just so damn confusing as it is with Fes, Fesworks, and ME-me.

Ardra fans, the hiatus will soon be over at last! John Peters, of Gypsy! and other comics,  has agreed to assume artist duties. He's been an Ardra fan for some time now, so he knows what he's getting into, and has a good understanding of the concept and characters.  I think you'll enjoy his artwork, and the return of weekly updates. If you've read Gypsy or any of John's other comics, you know he's a solid artist with a longtime record of quality work – and, as shown above, his style works well for Ardra.

Before I go, though, I'd be remiss if I didn't thank Trevor Adams for all his great work for Ardra over the last few years.  His artwork really helped put this comic on the map, and I'll always owe him a debt of gratitude.  Unfortunately, the demands of his real job made it difficult for him to update very often, but when he did, I always knew I'd be getting great work.  We wish him well in all his future endeavors, and hope that the years to come will bring him good fortune.

So, a new era in the history of Ardra is coming soon. Enjoy, and thanks for your patience during the hiatus!

Don't get depressed, just work on material. You just jumped the gun. I didn't get approved right away either. The biggest mistake for anyone trying to make a web presence with their material, is not being prepared enough, and not having much to show.

Yes, I saw the email. I've just been so behind and such, I have not been able to get back to you about it. There was another site that put together old comic book heroes as well. I kinda like how you (I assume) made original art for all the characters, though links to existing art, or maybe to wikipedia pages at least, would also be highly useful.

Are you using WordPress? It's been happening on my sites too (PSI, Ardra) I use Webcomic and Inkblot... not sure if there is a relation. appears to happen random. I don't use widgets. It's not been a big deal for me though.
