Still on my mind, but been a bit busy with other projects at the moment, I'll have a look into it once I'm on top of things.

I know you said you were thinking you may need to modify or spruce up a few parts, but I could also prep it (like I did with When Casting Calls) or help prep it if you'd like. So just e-mail me if it comes to that point. Good luck in any case ;)

I will be making one big update in a week or so. Just always behind in stuff.

In any case, I'm looking to get the entire site WordPress'd. This should make things easier for updating and browing... though it could take some time before the whole site is converted. Old links should all still work.... I think...

The website will be properly broken up into 2 sites. The Shifter Archive and Jenny Everywhere (.net)

The Shifter Archive will have all the news and "abouts" and various information.
The Jenny Everywhere (.net) site will have all of the content.

The main differences is that one will have ads (TSA) and the other will not (JE). Because I made a commitment to not have ads on the content, especially since a ton of it is content of which I have no contact with the original artists. There is an exception to this, however. For content (particularly stories), that I have permission to put ads up on would only get the regular banner on. Other than that, there will be just the "Xepher.net Rotating Banner" which is a community thing, not so much an ad thing.

In other news, I presently own "jennyeverywhere.org" and I think I might be letting it go. I don't really use it, and nor does anyone else. For now I'm gonna keep it, unless i find someone that could put it to some good use.

Were you thinking of getting it printed and put up on Ka-Blam?

We talked about it once before, I think.

Very cool :)

Though the "Jenny Everywhere" book title could get messy when more stories get published with that first title :P

... They must have gone off of what I put down for the IndyPlanet entry for the book.

Emails have been sent to everyone. Let me know if you did not get one.

Ok, and this should be, more or less, the final if everyone is happy with it.

I may be making postcards or something (either for $1 or as free take-aways) for conventions and such... but I'll have to see about that... then I'll come back and ask if everyone is cool with that when I have a plan for it. But for now, this will be art released on the site as soon as I fix up a static page for this birthday.

I lost contact with you a while back. Can you send me a new e-mail? Also, might you be interested in comeing on The Webcomic Beacon Podcast to talk about this site?

http://penguicon.org/

The Shifter Archive will be at Penguicon 2010, April 30 - May 2, in the Troy Marriot in Troy, MI.

I'm looking for any other Jenny creators that may be showing up... most likely rotating a presence at the table itself. Anyone with Jenny merch for sale or freebies (even some for your non-Jenny stuff), can show up and drop some off, or send them to me to put on the table (technically 1/2 table).

There will be one panel on Jenny, as well. It will be the same as last year... since noone showed up (hopefully I'll get a better spot than 8am Sunday).

Some people have already been e-mailed, but I'm hoping the forum will grab a couple more people's attention.

Here is the preliminary, near-final rendition (without my entry):

I couldn't move some from one side to the other, because of how they were drawn (of how others were drawn under them). So I came up with this.

I'm planning on having my Jenny kneeling by the table on the left, poking at the cake.... if I can get it to look good.

I Also removed the "Needs More Sugar!" because I think it works without it (plus it took just a bit too much space).

thoughts?

As I look at it I may be mirror flipping a couple Jennys to help pack them in a bit more... I'll see after I get mine in, then I'll see if everyone is cool with the final design.

The News Guy's Jenny will be moved down a bit. I was gonna put lettering at the top. it's Denny, then after that it's me.

Then that should be it and I'll make a new section on the site for links to all of the birthday stuff (which will basically be an extended version of the home-page as it is presently).

You certainly may. I'll send you an e-mail once I know if the current guy has time to make something, etc. Then you :)

I'm gonna try sending to one more person if they have the time.
