I'm sad because I've been out of college for a year, the economy crashed, I have no job (not even my usual temp. ones), and no one wants to hire me for things I can do. D:

I don't want to work at Best Buy or Wal-mart or McDonalds, don't you understand!?

Also one of my friends is moving for the summer, and her apartment was the anime club's home base (we're really just a bunch of geeky friends now), so the club is officially disbanded.

Slow response time! That is very helpful. <3

Before I try that, I kind of wonder if I can do that in a way so that anywhere past this part in my messy URLs can be rewritten without being relative to a certain subdirectory:

But actually I think I know what to do relative to paths too. It's slightly confusing, because I'm using one copy of CuteNews in three different subdirectories, hehe.

EDIT: Oh gawd, I tried adding both your thing and my idea to my root .htaccess and I got a 500 error. I wonder if having so many rewrite rules already makes it worse?

Ah, I see! I'll remember that then. XD
Technical Support / AWStats Permissions Error
May 06, 2009, 09:20:33 AM
Error: Couldn't open file "/var/log/awstats/" for read: Permission denied

Setup ('/etc/awstats/' file, web server or permissions) may be wrong.
Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).

Thought I would bring it to attention!

I have no knowledge of php to speak of; I just utilize it. I use a highly modded version of CuteNews ('cause as it is it has no official support and is otherwise a big security risk... should anyone ever want to hack you |D) for my websites' blogs. If all my comic websites ran on Wordpress rather than just their archives that would be doable, too, but they're completely built by me except for the archives.

You don't actually have to know PHP to use a lot of PHP stuff out there. Just need to be able to follow instructions.

I'm happy because I'm lining up a cruise in the Caribbean in 3 weeks. Get to use my new dive computer! :-)

"Dive computer"...I just imagined a laptop that can work underwater. That WOULD make me happy.

Actually, I have no idea why I'm in such a good mood right now.

I was gonna look into the robots.txt thing eventually.

The things still being accessed are still in areas I wouldn't mind being indexed. On that note, I think I know what's causing it, or part of. *runs to Google webmasters~*

Recently I changed the entire archives for both my webcomics. There should be absolutely no way to access the old files anymore, as they no longer exist. Yet, according to AWStats (which is very good at helping me weed out broken links), lots of people are still somehow clicking to old pages of mine.

I did realize part of it was due to forum posts on my own forum, which I changed, but it still happens with a variety of older pages that I'm sure I didn't link anywhere anytime recently (or ever). I thought maybe people have bookmarked them too, but then that still shouldn't happen so much because I have much doubt people bookmarked random old pages of mine!

Some other 404s seem strange to me too, lol. (And the AWStats Wii icon is broken apparently. |D) Anyone else have strange 404s?

Whoa... me too.

If I were you I'd feel like I didn't do enough, either... but actually, it's more than. It's hard, if not impossible, to be a superhero, after all...

Suddenly all of them stopped working, and I know I didn't modify them anytime recently. D:!

Oh my.

Suddenly, all my forms, which were working fine before, are not working. I wonder why. I know they were definitely working, like, last week...
