A few years? I don't know if I'm gonna be here that long. I'm probably heading for Europe too in the next few years for a long needed bucket list kick off. I'll be going to visit Turkey, Egypt and Greece soon, then back to Korea for more English teacher work!

I'm trying to get to India to see the Taj Mahal but I keep getting put off. I also want to go to New Zealand and I want to see Christmas Island...too much world to see, I guess.

Offer is good whenever, if I'm still in the vicinity. You've found a friend in me for sure.

That sounds totally delicious! I'm not ready to move onto bread - I really messed up my first trial on making banana bread last month. But I have been trying to perfect my own recipes of sugar, oatmeal and peanut butter cookies. Plus everybody uses me cus I'm the only one in my building (or my company) with a full size oven. It's obviously not a common thing to have an oven in a Korean household.

I've also perfected the delicate flakiness of a pot pie crust. I didn't think it was that hard!

Thanks so much.

I'll still come around the forums from time to time to see what new sites you have and the talent on here, if you'll have still have me. I really enjoy this forum after all these years.

I kinda figured you'd reserve the DELETE button for the truly resolved. I really did think alot about it, and even tried to spend time working things out in my head. But I believe it's time.

I'm serious about the emailing me if you ever travel in my part of the world. I'll be here for another year or two. Trust me, it's a different world over here!

Before everything, I want to say that I'm so grateful that you chose me to be hosted all those years ago. I really did have fun and truly put myself out there because you gave me a voice and platform. Xepher, you are a great host of hosts. If you ever find yourself in the Seoul, South Korea area, you email me. I'll show you what kind of hostess I can be.

I feel that I haven't been very attentive to my site for so many reasons life has given me. I have only periodically come around to see what is going on with this forum as a lurker. I see that I am still a member and I don't feel I deserve to be one anymore.

I have been living in South Korea for a while now working as an ESL teacher, my time is too fixed and I barely have time to even look at the computer unless it's to check emails and use instant gratification sites like Facebook.

I need closure and a sense of privacy. I also couldn't find the button on the User Services page.

Warping kid's minds are just the thing to let them know how the real world works hey?

I've had kids ask me if the dinosaur for Disney's "Dinosaur" could have really talked. I had to tell him that they wouldn't have or at least not our language. And he asked "Then which other language - spanish or french?"

I also work Day Care and I like the balance those two jobs have against each other. Then there's babysitting, and well, that's totally fun. All I do is hang out with kids that adore me all day. Sweet...

I'm thinking exactly the same way! I want to quit but I can't seem to see myself walking away from the money...

Money is the devil, I tells yeah. If I won the lotto all I'd do is get blotto.

I didn't have time to read it but I looked at your gallery and the colour is amazing! The shading has a hint of cell-cartoon look. Keep up that unique type, I don't see it that often.

General Chat / Being a Pirate
July 31, 2006, 02:03:35 AM
I've been a pirate since watching the Goonies, Cutthroat Island, and Sinbad! My name is Iron Grace Kidd the Bonney!

I was a gypsy on Halloween last year and my friend Roman was a pirate. He kept on insisting that we should have lice-infested, scraggy-haired, scurvy-strickened babies together throughout the night. I hope to god he was drunk...

I also got stuck at 4. What is up with that? I didn't think it was IQ skilling testing at all, it was more like remeber yuor computer class skills or something. Sorry.

I'm more like problem solving in a story-line setting sort of girl. Like Arcane or the Room.

Ticky: You can't imagine the weirdness I feel even giving up something for lent cus I'm not particularly religious. I'm more spiritual...whatever that means. BUT YAY MARSHMALLOWS!

Databits: Funny thing was that my sister was the first one to point out that he was a little like a goomba. I would hum the first Super Mario theme song to him while chasing him around when we first met and now that he's a little older he's asking me to! At first I wasn't so fond of his chubby cheeks and big smile but now I know he's my favorite baby! Don't tell...I'm not supposed to have favorites!

I love CG movies aimed for kids! I love how the industry is not making kids feel that they are mindless and stupid. I mean I have to say that Monsters, Inc. was one of the best movies I've ever seen period! And the kids at my daycare were quoting lines of the movie for weeks!

Picture kids jumping off the play structure and posing when landing, yelling "Mike Wisowski!!" It was so funny!!

Thanks ticky. I don't think we even had a conversation before but HI!
Griever and Femnazi: thanks too. I was kinda scared and things would be different. I didn't have internet for a while too cus my comp fuzzed out on me. Unfortunately, I STILL don't have the money to buy myself a new one.
My dad is getting better. He's a strong guy and it's funny cus he still retained that sense of humour that I actually miss at home.

I can't really have hot cocoa til after Easter cus I gave it up for lent along with Coffee. Its a hard couple of weeks. But marshmallows are cool, while I'm sporting a Goomba hat. There's a baby at my day care that looks like a Super Mario brothers Goomba. SSSSOOOO CUTTE!
